Prisoner's Dilemma
It's the last day of 2012. The nation remains in the thrall of the farce being perpetuated in Washington. The inability of Congress to resolve the issue that they themselves created appears as nothing if not the classic "Prisoner's Dilemma" in game theory. What we are observing here is irrational behavior on both sides.
But you didn't need game theory to tell you that.

AGREED! They shuffle blame from party to party, spend all the time in congress pointing fingers while performing nothing but patting themselves on the back, approving thier own pay raises and other stuff I’d rather not go into. (I’m already getting pissed off…)
